DIY MODERN WEDDING INVITATIONS SURPRISE FOR YOUR BOYFRIEND

8

Every other week I find that new friends are getting engaged. Some invitations are like a breath of fresh air, completely unique and special in their own way, while others sort of blend together and look the same after a while.

When you’re sending out wedding invitations, while you do want your invitees to get all the details they need such as date, time, and location, what you really want is for them to receive a beautifully crafted package that represents the personalities of you and your fiancé. It can be incredibly difficult to craft an invitation that looks cool and provides guests with the information they need. So, today we’re bringing you a selection of some of the most unique DIY invitations using SIlhouette Cameo.

First we will teach you how to create a whimsical wedding card with a bold color scheme and graphic elements.

1

First, with the cut file in the Silhouette Studio software, then nudge each circle slightly so that they all touched and welded them so that they would cut out as one solid shape. Then, use a dye inks to create my watercolor design on the card base and simply adhered the hearts on top!

2

To finish off the card, put the Mr. & Mrs. script sentiment. You will love its whimsical and handmade quality. Cutting it out of black card stock definitely gave it some pop and tied the whole modern theme together.

Then here’s the other creative Wedding Invitations that caught my eyes.

DIY BLEACH SHIRT for Your BoyFriend

Steampunk-Cogs-Bleach-Tee-Main-copyToday I’m sharing a fun little projects that’s so fun and easy! Have you ever tried your hand at bleach t-shirts? I’m gonna show you on how to make a rusty color it pulls on a black t-shirt. It makes a great boy project and I thought the Steampunk Cogs fit the bleach tee look perfectly. Using Silhouette Cameo

You can start by laying out the cogs in Silhouette Studio, allowing one to hang over the edge for a partial cog (on the bottom right) and then cutting the design with Stencil Vinyl.

Using Transfer Paper, laid out the cogs on the pre-washed tee. Then over-exposed the below picture to make the vinyl easier to see on the t-shirt.

Put an old plastic cutting board in-between the shirt layers to bleach tees. All you do is mix a 50/50 bleach-water solution in a spray bottle and lightly might areas of the t-shirt you want to discolor. The color lifts right before your eyes. It’s super fast so watch close!

After a few minutes, Carefully remove the stencils and immediately wash the shirt in an empty washing machine. Toss it in the dryer and it’s ready to wear! The possibilities are endless.

DIY Snowflakes Card For Your Love or Friends

On how to make a DIY card

We will use a cutting machine which is the best plotter Silhouette Cameo. It cuts beautiful and intricate designs. This is a sample product of the machine, a clean and simple card.    This card uses 2 colors of plain cardstock, one ink color, one stamp, and some ribbon and bling.  It’s easy!

Silhouette Snowflakes Card3

The card base is Crystal Blue CTMH Cardstock stamped with Crystal Blue ink using one stamp from the Snow Flurries set.  White Daisy cardstock was cut using a blade depth of 4 at a speed of 3 using the double cut option through the software linked to the Cameo.  For even more intricate cuts, slowed the speed to 2. This was with a new blade, btw.

Silhouette Snowflakes Card2

After cutting the shapes, Isprayed them with a paint and water mixture to give the snowflakes a shimmery effect.  The picture above was taken with a flash to show off the pearlized look.

The final touch was to add some CTMH Clear and Bitty Sparkles to the snowflakes. The white organdy ribbon was threaded through a ribbon slide and  adhered to the front of the card.

How to be Creative

saddsasCreativity is a natural gift but some people might not know that they are creative because I believe that every single individual can be creative. You can be an artist with your natural talents but you can also be an artist by having a passion in arts. Because being Creative is a skill that we need to learn, practice and develop. The more you strive the more you will be creative.

Unconscious Learning

You will start the creativeness without knowing it. Just like in our old school when we were bored with our teacher’s lectures we always open our notebooks and draw something. Like doodling, coloring or just making a stickman with your creative consciousness.

The doodle revolution author, Suni Brown notes that some of the  greatest thinkers-from Henry Ford to Apple’s Steve Jobs –used doodling to jump-start their creativity. Some companies even encourage their employees to draw or do doodling during meetings because it can enhance recall and active unique neurological pathways, leading to new insights and cognitive breakthroughs.

Make a step to be Creative

You can also join for an Art class to enhance your knowledge and creativeness.  Being artistic will flourishes when you push yourself outside the box or outside your comfort zone and learn something new. There are so many courses that offer different classes like painting, gift wrapping, picking up new instruments, cooking class or just making a simple decor.

Finding the creativeness in You.

You can also find yourself being creative by just physically moving your body because it has been shown to have a positive effect on creative thinking as you eased your mind.

Start a ScrapBook

It’s a best way to preserve memories and make constructive use of time than spending your time scrolling your phone.  Start your memory book whenever you have a few spare minutes. Post your pictures together with your friends, create a quote and put some stickers. After that you’ll find your scrap book a better way to start being creative.

Try the 30 Circles Test

Take a piece of paper and draw 30 circles on the paper. Now, in one minute, adapt as many circles as you can into objects. For example, one circle could become a sun. Another could become a globe. How many can you do in a minute? (Take quantity over quality into consideration.)

The result: Most people have a hard time getting to 30, largely because we have a tendency as adults to self-edit. Kids are great at simply exploring possibilities without being self-critical, whereas adults have a harder time. Sometimes, even the desire to be original can be a form of self-editing. Don’t forget–good artists copy, great artists steal.

Helpful Social Media Platforms

social-media-campaign-ideas

One of the most common business dilemmas is figuring to where to start your online business.

I would like to introduce a few high level ideas to help you decide where to put your time for best results.

The Goal.

There are lots of amazing things a business can do to create benefits from social media tools-customer service, business intelligence, and creating awareness to your brand.

Now, we need to create an actionable audience-that is, develop an online community who will create business benefits for you over time.

Reaching your people.

When you post your syndicated items on social media it’s like you throw your products to an ocean of buyers.

You reached them easier than making commercials or buy a page on an ad. Low Cost-wise.

The goal of social media marketing is to direct more audience member to subscriptions-reliable reach- over time.

Here is the list of the best Social Media Platforms:

yahoo-answers-150x150Yahoo Answers – People love to visit forums and Q&A sites like Yahoo Answers. Research said that more people visit forums than blogs.

You might answer someone’s question by recommending your products.

twitter-logo-150x150Twitter – Though it might be limited to post a content with just 140 characters, it can be difficult creating something meaningful in that small space.

This site has an ability to create a huge, relevant audience quickly but since you cannot target groups of followers with messages, you can throw a message that can be read by thousands of people. This platform can help you to direct them to your blogs and sites.

instagram-logo-150x150Instagram -is the only Platfrom who is limited on interacting but with a high reach. Practically you can gain a lot of people by just posting a drooling photo with a little content.

People loves to look on visual contents after all.

facebook-bug-150x150Facebook – is the King of all platforms. You can’t ignore Facebook because it’s huge and popular and easy to navigate.

You must have a conversational brand or become one. If you want to establish a brand in a community then Facebook deserves your payment.

Snapchat-logo-150x150Snapchat – It’s not bad to post a content on Snapchat but it can really help you to get known.

When you posted a photo it will be seen by the most engaged users.

YouTube_logoYoutube – Video Blogging, Podcasting and creating video contents. That’s the edge of Youtube. People can see the actual process on how to make your products, how useful it is, and the actual moving products.

Consistently publishing a blog, video series, or podcast allows you to develop important, loyal connections over time. These are the people that are really interested in you.

The content that you posted is permanently there and can be re-purposed for years. And the most important thing, people are lazy to read content so they better watch it.

Under certain circumstances, you can build a relevant, actionable, passionate audience on any of these social media platforms. You need to provide a rich content of blogs, video, and photos. There are many more opportunities within these platforms that you can see by researching.
